Please note that information regarding tethered balloon rides in the Polio Panda balloon published recently in the Democrat-Herald paper is incorrect.

The Polio Panda balloon (sponsored by the Albany Rotary Club) will be offering tethered rides on Friday ONLY, starting immediately after the balloon launch and lasting up to 9am (all weather permitting). Price is $5 for youth and $10 for adults.

The Polio Panda balloon will launch during the regular balloon launches at 6:45am Saturday and Sunday morning (weather permitting) but will not offer tethered rides on those days.

Morning Launches

Watch as balloons fill the morning sky near Timber Linn Park. Liftoff is promptly at 6:45 a.m., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
